See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

so i have an idea for a music video

it’s for headfirst slide into cooperstown on a bad bet

it’s the wedding day. the groom has hired the wedding band that the bride loved {through the spilled paged of her old diary or her friends idk}, as a surprise for her.

except that she was in a serious relationship with the lead singer, also a woman! {bride is bi, lead singer is lesbian <333} it was like a “one that got away” or “right people wrong timing” kinda scenario idk

now that the lead singer knows whose wedding she’s gonna be performing at, she picks “headfirst slide into cooperstown on a bad bet” to perform at the bride’s wedding - in an attempt to win her back. or at least make her have second thoughts about the wedding.

the day comes. it’s a lovely little garden wedding in the morning where the sun rays don’t hurt but keep you just warm through the relatively colder morning. it’s all bright and very cottagecore.

the band comes on to perform. bride is shooketh initially ofc. they’re performing The Song. some guests are enjoying themselves, some are not a fan of the music. the groom LOVES the song. he’s out there, in his own world, busting moves left and right and the bride is the only one who gets the lyrics. lots of eye contact and glances b/w the bride and the lead singer.

now this story can end in two ways:

  1. the bride KNOWS that the groom is the only one she wants to spend the rest of her life with. she is confident and happy in her decision and she’s never loved him more, seeing what he had done for her on their wedding day - hiring a band she loved, with a lead singer she didn’t anymore :) {maybe she kisses her husband mid-dance, as if showing him off}
  2. the lead singer was successful and now she’s rethinking her wedding. the groom is dancing his ass off, completely oblivious to what the singer is communicating to the bride through the song and how the bride’s eyes don’t seem to leave the singer - which truly begs the question, “Does your husband know the way that the sunshine gleams from your wedding band? Does he know the way you worship our love?”

I was talking to this friend who follows me on insta and most of my insta stories are about dance and sometimes when I get some really good dance posts featuring male classical dancers I always make sure to post them on my stories

Now this friend just like most other guys said the same thing that you know those male classical dancers you post on your stories kafi uncomfortable lagta hai dekhne maybe shayad voh personality aagyi ya kuch mind nahi karna par ajeeb lagne lagta hai

And I was so dumbfounded like.... My odissi guru is a male. The same female classical dancers you find pretty have had male gurus too

I didn't want to argue with him because there was no point in it. There is already a huge stigma around male classical dancers as if Shiva was never a man. Besides dance is dance, anyone is allowed to do it and it doesn't make one less masculine or feminine.

insecure guys will see talented dancer guys shake their hips and lose their minds

i think it was either annual day or sports day at our school, i was in 7th and participating in a dance performance and our school had hired a male choreographer and I LOVED HIM! he was so comfortable in his choreography and with his body and like, regardless of gender, that is what it takes to dance - you need to have a flair for it, and he did!

i overheard some guys at our school call him “gay” because that’s like the brahmastra of insults for an early teen guy.

Which romance trope are you?

Let's see. (Take this quiz if you are bored.)

Mine: friends to lovers

Is beautiful when done right, & is painfully boring when done wrong.

Mine: Enemies to Lovers

Even better, if one character hates one more than the other & slowly realizes that they have feelings for them (dk if this is toxic)

Ofcourse it has to be this...🤌✨❤️

forbidden love

like romeo & juliet but age-appropriate (i hope); this includes queer romances where one character is closeted & the other isn’t

“one character is closeted and the other isn’t” like my best friend and I, respectively

thank you for tagging me in stuff, @your-desi-anonymous-simp!! please never stop I love these things <33 even though I respond late
